１．聖書 The Scriptures

旧新約聖書66巻は神の霊感によって書かれ、原典において誤りの無い神の言葉であると信じる。また聖書はクリスチャンの信仰と救いについての唯一の基準であると信じる。

We believe the 66 books of the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God. In the original manuscripts, it contains no error and it is the final authority for the Christian faith and living.

2. 神  God

神は唯一の生ける、真の神と信じる。しかし永遠の神はご自身を父なる神、子なる神、聖霊なる神としてわたし達に現わしになる三位一体の神と信じる。父、御子、御霊はそれぞれ区別されているが、本質として、存在として同じ神であると信じる。

We believe that there is one and only living and true God. However, the eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

3. キリスト  God the Son, Christ

キリストは子なる永遠の神であると信じる。イエス・キリストとして受肉された時、聖霊により、処女マリヤより生まれた。またご自身の十字架上の死と復活をとおして、私たちの罪の贖いのための唯一の道を備えて下さったと信じる。またキリストは地上におられた時、完全に人であり、神であられたと信じる。

We believe that Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus led a perfect life without sin and he was fully God and fully man. He has provided the only way for the redemption of our sin through His death and resurrection. 

4. 聖霊なる神  God the Spirit

聖霊は神の霊であり、そのご性質において完全に神であられると信じる。また、昔の聖徒に霊感を与え、聖書を書かせた。人に真理を悟らせ、キリストに栄光を捧げるお方である。また、聖徒を成熟させ、慰め、さまざまな霊的な賜物を与えられる。聖徒に証印を押し、最後の贖いの日まで彼らを保たれる。信じる者の中に住まわれるが、それはやがてキリストと同じ形に変えて下さることの保証である。

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He inspired holy men of old to write the Scriptures. Through illumination He enables men to understand the truth. He exalts Christ. He cultivates Christian character, comforts believers, and bestows the spiritual gifts by which they serve God through His church. He seals the believer unto the day of final redemption. His presence in the Christian is the guarantee that God will bring the believer into the fullness of the stature of Christ. 

5.　救い　Salvation

救いは全人的な贖いであると信じる。また救いへの道は唯一であり、それはイエス･キリストへの信仰によると信じる。救いはイエスを自分の個人的な主であり、救い主であると信じ、受け入れるすべての者に与えられると信じる。

We believe that Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.

6.  終わりの時 The Last Things

神はご自身が定められた時に世に終わりをもたらされると信じる。また約束されたように、主イエスは目に見える姿でこの地球に再びいらっしゃる。その時、死者はよみがえり、キリストがすべての人を義をもって裁かれる。義とされた者は皆、栄光の体をもって永遠に主と共に生きる。

We believe that God, in His own time,  will bring the world to its appropriate end. According to His promise, Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in glory to the earth; the dead will be raised; and Christ will judge all men in righteousness. The righteous in their glorified bodies will receive their reward and will live forever with the Lord.
