生方義憲（うぶかたよしのり）

1972年　7月7日埼玉県生まれ、小学生の時、近所のクリスチャン婦人の伝道を通してキリストを信じるようになる。大学卒業前に「わたしについて来なさい。あなたを人間をとる漁師にしてあげよう」「全世界に出て行き、すべて造られたものに福音を宣べ伝えなさい」という御言葉を与えられて主への献身の思いが与えれる。1997年早稲田大学法学部卒業、2000年に韓国人の妻ヘヨンと結婚。2003年拓殖大学大学院言語教育研究科修士課程修了。その後神学校に導かれ、Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminaryを卒業し、2テモテ2:1-3の御言葉を与えられ、米国Southern Baptist ConventionのJapanese Church Planting Network (JCPN) と共に北米日本語教会開拓に参加することを決意。オレゴン州での6ヶ月の教会開拓の研修を終え、2006年10月家族と共に日本語教会開拓のビジョンをもって、U-haulで荷物を引っ張り、数千マイルを旅し、誰も知らないセントルイスに移り住む。2007年2月にJapanese International Harvest Church (Southern Baptist)を開拓。JCPNのファシリテーターとして、北米の他の都市での日本語教会開拓を援助中。

Yoshinori Ubukata

He was born in July, 1972 in Japan and through a Christian lady in his neighborhood, he came to believe in Jesus as his Lord and Savior when he was in elementary school. Before graduating from a university in Tokyo, God spoke to him through the following verses, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men”, and “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation” and he decided to dedicate his life to the Lord. He graduated from Waseda University in 1997, and married Hyeyeon in 2000, and after graduating from Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary, he decided to work with Japanese Church Planting Network (JCPN). He moved to St. Louis with his family in October, 2006 and planted Japanese International Harvest Church (JIHC) in February, 2007. And currently, he also serves as facilitator of JCPN to help start Japanese speaking churches in other cities in the US.
